Job Description
- Preparing policies, methodologies, procedures, and business models related to strategic planning in the institution.
- Analysing current and expected opportunities and threats in the institution's business environment on the one hand, and the internal strengths and weaknesses within the institution on the other hand, and preparing studies on this, which contributes to preparing a comprehensive strategic plan.
- Reviewing the institution's vision and mission with the leadership team and implementing the resulting change processes.
- Effective participation in the strategic plan update team and annual budget preparation meetings and linking them to operational plans in coordination with the heads of organizational units in the institution.
- Preparing and developing mechanisms for linking the institution's strategic plan with the executive plans of its organizational units.
- Stakeholder analysis (strategic plans of the government, the board of directors, partners and suppliers) with the aim of determining their participation rates in achieving strategic goals and supporting joint initiatives between institutions and that category.
- Implementing procedures for distributing amendments and updates to strategic plans according to developments to organizational units and work teams implementing strategic initiatives in the institution.
- Representing the institution in terms of disseminating strategic components and explaining them to all stakeholders and surveying opinions for the purposes of continuous development and improvement.
- Follow up on the indicators of the various national strategic plans related to the work of the institution within the strategic plan of the Dubai government.
- Implement procedures to follow up on the achievement of the strategic objectives of the organizational units in the institution and prepare periodic analytical reports.
- Review and update the manual of tasks and responsibilities of organizational units.
- Develop the necessary systems, practices and reporting models in accordance with the best international practices to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of
- the institution's general and specialized strategy and development plans to support senior management in making decisions related to the main activities of the institution and future directions.
- Document the policies, methodologies, procedures and work models in effect in the institution on a regular basis.
- Prepare studies to develop the organizational structure in cooperation with the relevant organizational units and human resources.
- Develop and identify key performance indicators related to the strategic plan.
- Hold awareness workshops on strategic objectives and their follow-up mechanism.
- Prepare administrative report models for all strategic activities being implemented.
- Provide consultations and support to specialized teams responsible for institutional development.
- Adhere to the information security system, policies, processes and programs, and inform the direct manager of any security breaches or suspicious incidents.
- Perform any other tasks related to the work of the office or as directed.
- Master's degree requires 12 years of experience in strategic planning.
- Bachelor's degree requires 14 years of experience in strategic planning.
