Info Arab Media FZ-LLC / Al Mashhad is seeking a Podcast Editor to join the digital team, The Podcast Producer is responsible for overseeing the entire production process of podcast episodes, ensuring high-quality content that engages and resonates with the target audience. This role requires a blend of creative storytelling, technical expertise, and project management skills.
The main accountabilities are:
• Collaborate with hosts, writers, and content creators to develop engaging episode concepts and themes.
• Conduct in-depth research to support episode topics and identify key discussion points.
• Write and edit scripts, show outlines, and interview questions.
• Plan episode structures, transitions, and intros/outros.
• Coordinate and schedule recording sessions with team members and guests.
• Monitor sound quality to ensure audio fidelity and minimal disruptions.
• Direct hosts and guests for optimal storytelling and audience engagement.
• Edit and mix episodes to industry standards (audio balancing, noise reduction, etc.).
• Add music, sound effects, and voice-overs to enhance the listener experience.
• Write and refine episode descriptions, show notes, and transcriptions.
• Upload and schedule episodes on podcast platforms like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or Google Podcasts.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials (audiograms, graphics, social posts).
• Analyse audience metrics and adjust strategies to increase engagement and downloads.
Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in podcast production, broadcasting, or audio storytelling.
• Proficiency in audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity, Pro Tools).
• Experience in sound mixing and mastering techniques.
• Strong storytelling and writing abilities.
• Project management skills with attention to deadlines and details.
• Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms and RSS feeds.
• Experience working with podcast analytics tools (Chartable, Podtrac).
• Knowledge of SEO for podcast descriptions and titles.
• Ability to handle live recordings and troubleshoot technical issues on the spot.
