About the job PMIS Specialist

The PMIS Systems Expert will oversee the Corporate-level implementation, management, and continuous improvement of the PMIS across all projects in the MENA region. The manager will support various clients and ensure the successful deployment and integration of PMIS solutions, enhancing project delivery, data management, and communication processes.


General Description of Role and Responsibilities:


  • Lead the deployment of PMIS solutions across all ongoing and future projects in the MENA region.
  • Develop corporate PMIS standards, workflows, and processes that align with Hill International's strategic goals and client needs.
  • Ensure alignment of PMIS implementation with ISO standards, including ISO 19650, and any applicable regulations in the region.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their project requirements and offer tailored PMIS solutions.
  • Serve as the main liaison between clients, internal teams, and external vendors for all PMIS-related inquiries and support.
  • Address and resolve PMIS-related issues, ensuring timely solutions to enhance system performance and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure seamless integration of PMIS tools with other project management, cost control, scheduling platforms, BIM, GIS and ERP.
  • Reviews the Configuration Management.
  • Utilize data from multiple sources within the PMIS to create comprehensive, visually compelling, and actionable reports for various stakeholders.
  • Develop efficient processes for extracting and transforming data from PMIS platforms into Power BI for advanced analytics and reporting.
  • Generate detailed reports and insights to assist project teams and senior management in monitoring project progress, performance, and risks.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for internal teams and clients on the effective use of PMIS tools.
  • Create knowledge-sharing platforms and best practice guides to promote consistent and efficient use of the PMIS across all projects.
  • Participate in business development activities, including client presentations, workshops, and industry events, to expand the market share of PMIS solutions.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors offerings to keep Hill Internationals PMIS solutions competitive and up-to-date.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:


  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Professional experience of at least 10+ years, including Project / Program Management in large projects and corporate level.
  • Must have experience implementing PMIS systems like the following: Oracle Primavera Unifier, procore, Procoor, Aconex and PMWeb or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in managing PMIS.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the automation of procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant certification is a plus.
