Job Description
- Install and repair piping systems, fixtures, water heaters, and other plumbing-related equipment.
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems in residential and industrial facilities.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and perform repairs when necessary.
- Install valves, hangers, supports, and other piping system components.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Identify malfunctions or required repairs through regular testing and troubleshooting.
- Respond to emergencies like leaks or blockages promptly.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC safety policies and procedures, especially in high-risk areas such as oil and gas pipelines.
- Adhere to local and international standards for plumbing in the oil and gas industry (e.g., API, ASME codes).
- Follow strict safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain records of performed work, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
- Prepare reports on completed jobs and present them to supervisors or management when required.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., electrical, HVAC, mechanical) to ensure plumbing systems integrate well with the overall facility systems.
- Work with contractors, engineers, and supervisors to complete projects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent. Certification or technical training in plumbing is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a plumber, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Familiarity with the maintenance and installation of industrial plumbing systems, piping, and fixtures used in the oil and gas industry.

- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Willingness to work in confined spaces and at heights, if required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot plumbing systems and make repairs quickly.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the oil and gas sector.
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes in harsh conditions.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
