Job Description
We are recruiting an experienced and highly skilled Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our 40 Metric Ton (MT) LPG/CNG bottling plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the facility while adhering to company policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices. The role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of LPG/CNG operations, safety protocols, and quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily plant operations, including bottling, storage, and distribution of LPG/CNG. Ensure timely and accurate production to meet customer demand.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulations, and environmental guidelines. Implement and maintain safety training programs for plant personnel.
- Lead, supervise, and develop plant employees, including technicians, operators, and safety staff. Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and safety drills.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure the product meets the required standards. Address any quality issues promptly.
- Ensure the plant’s equipment and machinery are well-maintained, troubleshoot technical issues, and manage preventive maintenance schedules.
- Oversee the inventory of raw materials, finished products, and consumables. Work with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment and proper storage.
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing the handling, storage, and distribution of LPG/CNG. Prepare and submit required reports to authorities.
- Identify opportunities to improve plant efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity. Implement best practices and contribute to process optimization.
- Monitor and control plant operational expenses, ensuring efficient use of resources. Prepare and manage the plant’s annual budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing operations at an LPG/CNG bottling plant or similar industrial plant.
- Strong knowledge of LPG/CNG bottling processes, equipment, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Knowledge of environmental health and safety (EHS) standards.
