Job Description
Job Purpose:
- This role will report to Administration and take responsibility of supervision and maintenance of plant equipment, machinery, heavy and light vehicles for projects including logistics for onshore and offshore.
- Manage and supervise plant machinery, vehicles and carry out inspections and maintenance through approved contractors and service providers. Supervise operators / drivers for heavy vehicles and machinery for projects.
- Coordinate with project team, procurement, vendors / suppliers for mobilization / demobilization of plant equipment, machinery, vehicles as per project schedule.
- Keep and update maintenance / service history, take care of preservation for specific equipment.
Overall Responsibilities
- This role will take responsibility for all plant machinery, heavy and light vehicles for projects, their supervision, inspections, maintenance and logistics. Identify skills and third-party trainings for operators as per client requirements and participate in selection of skilled operators and drivers.
- Carry out maintenance supervision through approved contractors, and service providers and ensure safety and quality compliance with client / customers guidelines.
- Coordinate with project team, procurement, vendors / suppliers for mobilization / demobilization of plant equipment, machinery, vehicles as per project schedule.
- Comply with procurement procedures and procurement and allocation of vehicles, plant machinery, spare parts, consumables, and tools to various projects by ensuring QC and HSE management system procedures.
Day To Day Responsibilities
- Work closely with Project teams for planning and utilization of plant equipment, machinery and vehicles for the project and allocate / mobilize / demobilize the plant machinery and vehicles as required. This effort requires to collect all information from project execution, vendors, suppliers and learn about project schedule, remote site locations (onshore/offshore), logistical requirements for site mobilization and demobilization.
- Assist procurement department in the selection of the contractors including RFQ preparation, bid evaluation and final selection to get the temporary services through third-party equipment, machinery, and vehicle contractor.
- Develop and implement necessary procedures in line with ISO management system guidelines e.g. logistics, maintenance, preservation / storage and implement health and safety procedure and ensure the safety of plant equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
- Work closely with Procurement to pre-qualify various service providers, repair contractors, third-party inspection agencies to get the services related to Plant Machinery & Vehicles. This also includes prepare repair estimate, collect quotations and process for approval in accordance with established procurement procedures.
- Cost estimation of vehicles and equipment for budgeting, project tender submission.
- Allocate, transfer, and transport the plant equipment, machinery or vehicles to different projects / cost centres and prepare a report of utilization of resource.
- Prepare repair estimate, maintenance reports, comparative statements and all maintenance related documents and reports. Maintain records on damages and prepare insurance declarations as required.
- Maintenance and repair work of different construction equipment like Welding Machines, Tube Flushing Machines, Transformers, Flushing / Cleaning Equipment, Forklift, Heavy and Light vehicles and other special equipment and tools etc.
- Management of vehicle telematics services (IVMS) and its scheduled reporting to ADNOC and ensure that related equipment, machinery, and vehicles are inspected from approved vendors and third-party inspection agencies.
- Coordinate with Sr. Project Engineer and Public Relations Officer and submit necessary documents to apply LOA for specific projects and coordinate to get the CICPA for equipment, machinery, and vehicles. Maintain tracker for expiry of LOA and CICPA and coordinate for renewals.
- Carry out any other duties as required by the Line Manager.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor Degree (with sufficient experience (05 Years) with background of working in workshop.
Additional Information
Experience Requirements:
- Experience level: 05-07 years
- Experience in supervision, maintenance and preservation of construction equipment, machinery and heavy / light vehicles and other special equipment.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and any other CRM software.
