Job Description

Planning & Project Control Manager - CCGT 

Abu Dhabi - UAE 



General Accountabilities

  • Perform a detailed analysis and be fully aware of in all activities related to planning and reporting requirements from the Power and Steam Purchase Agreement, from the EPC Contract and Owner’s requirements (including all Tenants deadlines) and take a leading role in managing the Project Control stakeholders effectively in line with the contracts;
  • Run specific critical path analysis and verify and challenge the modifications and deviations on the different Projects schedules (mainly on the Baseline schedule), reporting/verifying those with the Owner’s team ensuring that proper and proactive awareness and recovery measures are acknowledged;


Skills

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Planning, Scheduling, of large energy projects, with at least 6 years in Power Projects, with 2 projects fully completed;
  • Experience in the EPC side is mandatory. Experience as a developer/Owner is recommended;
  • Proficiency in Primavera Planning & Scheduling Software and tools related to project control (including but not limited to Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite tools);
  • Fluency in English with strong written and oral communication skills;
  • Strong taste for field missions and site assessment activities;
  • Demonstrate a rigorous, methodical, and organized profile;
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills, able to link different functions and disciplines towards a common.
