Planning Engineer - Guildhall

The Role
Guildhall is seeking a highly experienced Planning Engineer to join our client’s team for an exciting bridge construction project in Ras Al Khaimah. Our client is a leading construction and engineering firm specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6. • Coordinate with project teams, including contractors, engineers, and consultants, to ensure accurate project timelines and resource allocation. • Provide regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting any potential delays, risks, or issues and recommending corrective actions. • Evaluate project performance and forecast future progress based on analysis of data and schedules. • Assist in preparing detailed project plans, including milestones, deadlines, and deliverables. • Manage the integration of procurement, logistics, and resources into the project schedule. • Conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays. • Ensure that all project activities comply with local regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements. • Collaborate with the site team to resolve scheduling conflicts and implement solutions to improve efficiency. • Support the project manager in cost management by identifying any potential cost overruns linked to scheduling issues.
Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. • Minimum 10 years of experience in planning for building construction and infrastructure projects, with significant experience in bridge construction. • Proficiency in Primavera P6 software (essential). • Strong understanding of project management, scheduling, and resource planning for large-scale construction projects. • Experience in managing complex infrastructure projects, including bridge works. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address challenges proactively. • Experience with construction-related software and tools, along with excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite. • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data and make decisions quickly and efficiently. • Knowledge of UAE safety and construction regulations.
