Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, ensuring that all activities are planned and executed in line with the project requirements.
Coordinate
with Project Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to define project
scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
Ensure the optimal allocation of resources (labour, equipment, materials) to meet project deadlines.
Monitor the cost and financial performance of the project, ensuring it stays within budget.
Prepare forecasts for project completion and advise on cost control measures.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of contractors and subcontractors in terms of schedule adherence and productivity.
Attend project meetings and provide updates on scheduling status, progress, and challenges.
Ensure adherence to project timelines, contractual obligations, and project specifications.
Maintain
up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and
meeting minutes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum
of 5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in the construction industry
Proven
experience in managing large-scale construction projects and handling complex
scheduling tasks.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management principles, and industry standards.
Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with construction methods, project lifecycle, and industry best practices.
