PLANNING ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on mega projects in the Middle East and be immediately available for employment. Based in Dubai, you will play a critical role in project planning, scheduling, and coordination, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate scheduling and planning.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any deviations from the plan and recommending corrective actions.
• Plan and forecast project resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure optimal resource allocation to meet project milestones and deadlines.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and update the project risk register.
• Monitor project costs against budgets and ensure financial targets are met.
• Prepare cost reports and advise on cost-saving opportunities.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status and progress.
• Ensure all project planning activities comply with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and change orders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Candidates MUST be immediately available and currently based in the UAE
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Planning Engineer, with a strong background in mega projects within the Middle East.
• Expertise in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other relevant project management tools.
• PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Currently based in Dubai, UAE, and available to start immediately.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
