Job Description

The Planning Engineer plays a pivotal role in the construction and building industry, particularly in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This position requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage project timelines, resources, and budgets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring that all construction activities align with the overall project objectives. The Planning Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive plans that facilitate successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using appropriate planning software.
  2. Coordinate with project teams to gather necessary information for accurate planning.
  3. Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
  4. Prepare regular reports on project status, highlighting any potential delays or issues.
  5. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
