PL/SQL Developer

We are looking for a skilled Developer with strong expertise in SQL and PLSQL development, data analysis, and BI solutions. The candidate will be part of the Data Engineering team, contributing to database development, data analysis, and business intelligence (BI) tasks. This role involves developing and optimizing PLSQL database codes, performing data analysis, and ensuring high-performance data processes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Develop, optimize, and support advanced SQL and PLSQL database codes for various systems, including revenue accounting.
2. Design and implement data solutions using Oracle Database and Amazon Redshift.
3. Build and manage database objects such as tables, views, packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
4. Work with data architecture and modeling to support data warehouse solutions, including Star Schema design.
5. Perform SQL query tuning and PLSQL performance optimization to enhance existing processes.
6. Develop SQL/PLSQL solutions to automate manual reporting and ensure seamless data integration across different databases.
7. Provide daily support for database-related tasks, including resolving tickets and troubleshooting data discrepancies.
8. Collaborate with the BI team to develop solutions using platforms like MicroStrategy and Tableau.
9. Perform data analysis to identify discrepancies, resolve data issues, and provide root cause analysis (RCA) for anomalies.
**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
- Strong expertise in Oracle Database 11g and advanced PLSQL programming.
- Experience with SQL, PLSQL collections, bulk processing, and analytical functions.
- Proficiency in database performance optimization and SQL query tuning.
- Experience with data warehouse design, including Star Schema.
- Knowledge of BI platforms such as MicroStrategy and Tableau.
- Proficiency in tools like TOAD and SQL Developer for database development and analysis.
- Ability to understand business requirements, provide solution designs, and work independently.
- Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills.
**Preferred Experience:**
- 5+ years of experience in advanced PLSQL programming, preferably within the airline or revenue accounting domain.
