Job summary
M*SSION:
Responsible for developing and reviewing piping layouts, ensuring maintainability and handling requirements are met, and coordinating with other disciplines to resolve design issues.
TASKS:
Develop and optimize piping layouts, ensuring maintainability and handling requirements are met. Ensure designs comply with industry codes, standards, and client specifications. Conduct 3D model reviews and address comments and feedback from inter-discipline teams. Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve design conflicts and ensure integrated project delivery. Ensure all designs adhere to the Client’ standards and specifications. Conduct quality checks and reviews of designs and models to ensure accuracy and compliance. Address and resolve any design issues or discrepancies promptly. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design calculations, material take-offs (MTOs), and technical reports. Generate weight control reports for piping components and bulk materials.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 15+ years of experience in piping & layout engineering within the Oil & Gas sector, specifically in EPC offshore fixed facilities. Proven experience with 3D model reviews and resolution of comments. Proven experience with Saudi Aramco, ADNOC or Qatargas standards. Fluent level of English, written and spoken.

Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE; Contract Duration: 6 months; Starting Date: September 2024.
