About the job PIPELINE DESIGNER
We are seeking an experienced Pipeline Designer to join our engineering team for onshore oil and gas projects. The candidate must have extensive experience in the Engineering Phase, including FEED and Detailed Engineering, and must have previously worked on ADNOC projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop pipeline layouts, alignment sheets, isometric drawings, and route maps.
- Prepare P&IDs, plot plans, and general arrangement drawings related to pipeline systems.
- Ensure designs comply with ADNOC standards, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and other discipline designers to ensure design consistency.
- Generate 3D models and detailed drawings using software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or PDMS/E3D.
- Perform clash detection and inter-discipline coordination to resolve design conflicts.
- Assist in the preparation of material take-offs (MTOs) and support procurement activities.
- Ensure adherence to engineering codes and international standards (ASME, API, ADNOC specifications, etc.).
- Participate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, and technical discussions.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Pipeline Designer in onshore oil and gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of FEED and Detailed Engineering.
- Prior experience with ADNOC projects is mandatory.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, PDMS, E3D, or other relevant design software.
- Familiarity with pipeline routing, stress analysis input, and pipeline supports.
- Strong understanding of international design codes and ADNOC specifications.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and collaborate with multi-discipline teams.
- Immediate availability is a must.
