Job Description

  • Machine Setup Oversight: Supervise the preparation of machines prior to production, including raw material loading, adjusting machine parameters, and ensuring adequate staffing.
  • Machine Operation Monitoring: Monitor extrusion machinery to achieve set standards, SOPs, and desired output while maintaining product quality parameters.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications. Promptly address any defects or issues.
  • Maintenance Management: Coordinate regular machine maintenance, scheduling inspections of all electrical systems.
  • Material Planning: Collaborate with Plant, Procurement, and Planning personnel to manage raw materials and finished products effectively.
  • Safety Adherence: Strictly adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents. Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for self and team and promptly report any safety concerns to the HSE Engineer.
  • Documentation Maintenance: Keep comprehensive records of production activities, machine settings, and quality assessments. Complete necessary production reports.
  • Effective Communication: Clear communication with operators, Production In charge, and team members to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Training Engagement: Actively participate in training initiatives to enhance personal and team proficiency in machine operation.


Skills

  • Diploma of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • With Pipe extrusion and thermoforming related to pipe extrusion experience
  • 5 + years’ experience in preferably in similar industry with Plant Extrusion experience
  • Advanced Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machinery.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to develop and manage team
