Job Purpose
Carries out several Petrophysics duties to fulfill the technical requirements within a reservoir development team by ensuring suitable logging and interpretation techniques of adequate answer products and implementing cost effective programs whilst assuring high data quality deliverables.
Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)
⢠Provides technical advice on logging tools physics and coring techniques, data integration, well environments and drilling condition effects on measurements. Attends and contribute to wells drilling and workover planning meetings. ⢠Programs logging after agreeing with USRD team members and estimates cost for Drilling and workover data sheets. Analyzes the well path, itâs suitability to run W/L and or LWD tools. Reviews existing logs for workover and ensures depth determination and correlation logs.⢠Reviews job with contractorsâ engineers before logging. Provides well and logging report header information. Discusses expected data quality in known formation and hole conditions with contractors. Addresses contractorâs needs, difficulties and issues and agrees on best solution. Performs post job data quality and depth control, aligned with building quality database. Analyses logging efficiency. Measures quality development of service companies. Visits the rig site for special logging operations such as wireline pressure measurements, cement bond logs.⢠Prepares necessary correspondence to concerned personnel within the Company internal, Shareholders and service companies. Maintains well files and completion reports for Petrophysical section. Prepares file notes on special studies, SCAL, and contributes to reservoir characterization study reports.⢠Manages and controls, depth shifting/splicing of log data prior to entry into database and maintains Digital data in archiving system such as; copying prints, tapes, floppies. ⢠Provides quick look interpretation and data analysis for operational decision-making, Final Elan interpretation, using GeoFrame to identify lithology volumes and fluids saturation. Integrates interpretation with core and test data. Reviews and corrects interpretation performed by contractors. Provide Service companies input parameters to interpretation and data analysis modules.⢠Updates, reviews and follows up all safety reports written by service companies, and analyze safety development index, as measure for contractors improvement in safety practices with respect to quality and logging efficiency.⢠Follows up development of tools and methods of data acquisition and interpretation, by attending technical seminars, and reviewing technical papers, publications and manuals. Submits technical papers to technical forums and conferences.⢠Participates in reservoir characterization studies and contributes in special investigations, technical reviews, problem solving teams, reservoir monitoring campaigns, data acquisition and analysis projects. ⢠Works in line with HSE policy, rules and regulations.⢠Implements, maintains and improves ADMA-OPCO Petrophysics regulations on data management quality, depth, follow-up, interpretation and technical updates under Universal Petrophysics Integrated Control set of standards.

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering Discipline or equivalent.
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
6 years' experience in Petrophysics discipline with minimum 2 years in Petrophysics Studies.
