Job Summary & Profile :
The Perfumes Director will develop and manage the Perfume business across the Middle East & Africa Region, working with key perfume distributors and duty free operators, defining the right strategies in terms of Network.
Marketing, commercial conditions choice of appropriate Business Partners and guiding each area responsible in achieving the established sales targets.
This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the fragrance market, strong business acumen, and the ability to drive innovation and growth.
Job responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement long-term strategies for the perfume division to achieve business objectives and maintain competitive advantage. Drive and deliver ambitious business targets while protecting brand equity to deliver best-in-class execution.

Product Development:
Lead the deployment of new fragrances, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with brand identity and market trends. Collaborate with retailers and perfumers and creative teams to provide feedback to design innovative and high-quality products.

Marketing & Brand Management:
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote both new and existing products. Interface with global marketing teams to ensure alignment of brand strategy and execution. Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape to refine marketing strategies.

Sales & Distribution:
Partner with sales teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies. Manage relationships with key retailers and distributors to maximize market penetration and sales growth. Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve sales targets.

Operations & Financial Management:
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of the perfume division. Ensure operational excellence in all areas, including supply chain, production, and inventory management. Develop and recommend pricing strategies for new and existing products.

Team Leadership:
Build, motivate, and manage a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
Profile
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the fragrance or luxury goods industry, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role. Extensive knowledge of the fragrance market, including consumer trends and competitive landscape. Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as required.
