What you'll be doing
The People Partner for Tanagra will be working closely with brand/functional management to provide operational support, strategic advice and guidance while ensuring best practices are being integrated across all people related activities. He/she will fuel partnerships with their population in close collaboration with Group HR function to facilitate the delivery of value-added services to management and talent that reflect the business values and objectives. Your role will also include creating continuous improvement measures to enhance the employee experience and support the achievement business strategic and culture change.
Key Responsibilities:
As an active and effective member of the Leadership team, support the business’s strategies at various levels through guidance and input on workforce planning, ensuring high visibility, focus while developing the People Strategy. Develop people management, succession planning and talent management strategies through power plans and ensure such plans are executed in line with business alignment. Lead organization design to ensure a future fit structure meets the requirement of business needs, people movements and development. Be a change agent by looking for new ways to improve the employee experience and define our brand/function employee value proposition. Provides thought leadership on talent management guidance to the business’s management personnel through coaching, career development, counseling, and disciplinary actions to manage and resolves complex employee-relations issues. Supports stakeholders by coaching them into thinking innovatively about their work processes and team structures with a view of improving the business’s overall efficiencies. Lead/Support annual workforce planning with Brand/Function Leaders to ensure vacancies are managed in line with the approved budget and executed as per the correct recruitment process. Assess current roles and provide recommendations for new roles in coordination with Business Head and Vertical VP of People. Participate and own the recruitment process through assessment centers or competency-based interviews. Continually review and monitor the effectiveness of compensation and employee commission schemes and put forward recommendations for change. Continually assess our existing policies, procedures, and programs and put forward recommendations to improve efficiencies and employee satisfaction. Partner with departmental heads throughout the business, assisting them in understanding compensation and rewards programs, training, and development programs, and aiding in the proper management and communication. Work with the Talent Acquisition to ensure internal and external recruiting strategies result in relevant, high caliber candidates. Encourage a “growth mindset” amongst team members by collaborating with the Learning team to assess training needs training and development programs and monitor the brand/function’s training budget and learning consumption. Use all available data to ensure analytics supports all reporting, action planning and decision making and put forward recommendation for change. Champion both Group and brand/function specific D&I initiatives, with a key focus on culture change, nationalization, and employee wellbeing with People Experience on ends an action plan.
What you’ll need to succeed
Demonstrated experience in an HR Related role for a minimum of 3 years within the same industry or similar in nature. Demonstrate a strong understanding and experience working with multiple human resource disciplines, employee relations, compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, performance management, staffing, local employment laws. Proven and successful experience executing organizational change programs as delegated. Strong communication skills are a necessity. Ability to strategize and solve problems which could influence the decision-making process and drawing up reports and recommendations for departmental heads, management and stakeholders on people management approaches, strategies, and solutions. Capable of gathering and interpreting raw information and data, documenting findings, and drawing appropriate recommendations. Ability to effectively envision, develop, and implement new strategies that address complex business issues in a long-term manner. Capable of assessing the performance of existing programs within the business and recommend efficiencies and operational effectiveness. Must possess a helpful, calm, and professional demeanor, especially during times of uncertainty. Promote a trustworthy and likable approach so people are comfortable forwarding concerns and seeking advice from you. Have strong time management skills, and an ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects, with a keen eye for detail, be initiative-taking working under minimal supervision. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or any other related field. CIPD certification Excellent Command in English, Arabic
