Job Description
SearchPlus HR is in search of a compassionate and skilled Pediatric ER physician. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering emergency medical care to pediatric patients facing a variety of acute health issues. You will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating children in urgent situations, ensuring timely and effective medical intervention.
Responsibilities:
- Rapidly assess and triage pediatric patients presenting to the emergency department.
- Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and injuries in children of all ages.
- Provide stabilization and initial treatment, ensuring the safety and comfort of pediatric patients.
- Perform essential procedures, including wound care, intravenous access, and intubations as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding their child's condition and treatment options.
- Document all patient encounters, treatments, and follow-ups in the electronic medical record system.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education efforts within the department.
