We are seeking an experienced and creative Pastry Chef with a strong background in chocolate work to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exquisite pastries and desserts, with a particular emphasis on chocolate-based creations. Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to create and update the dessert menu, ensuring a balance of flavors and innovative presentations.
- Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Collaborate with the Regional Pastry Chef to adapt local recipes.
- Support marketing events and trade shows.
- Conduct vocational training courses.
- Provide close assistance and professional consulting during customer visits.
- Lead pastry demonstrations for customers.
- Hygiene & Safety: Ensure all kitchen operations comply with local health and safety regulations.
- Cost Management: Monitor inventory levels, manage costs, and minimize waste.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Pastry Chef, with at least 2 years focused on chocolate work.
- Education: Formal culinary training or relevant certification in pastry arts.
- Skills:
- Expertise in chocolate tempering, molding, and sculpture.
- Proficiency in creating a wide range of pastries and desserts.
- Strong understanding of flavor profiles and food pairings.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
