Role description and responsibilities


As a Partnership Lead, you will be at the forefront of vendor relationships for Alpheya's marketplace. This role is crucial in sourcing, evaluating, and managing key vendors across services like market data, news feeds, and brokerage solutions. You’ll collaborate across teams to align vendor offerings with Alpheya’s needs, conduct technical assessments, and drive solution designs that integrate smoothly into our platform.


Solution Design:


  • Design initial technical solutions based on vendor capabilities that are scalable and robust.
  • Collaborate with tech teams to ensure every solution meets Alpheya’s high standards.

Technical Assessment:


  • Lead first-level technical assessments in vendor API sandboxes to guarantee fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Ensure all solutions meet Alpheya’s technical benchmarks.

Product Requirement Matching:


  • Align vendor offerings with Alpheya’s specific technical and business needs, ensuring compatibility and anticipating future scalability.
  • Oversee seamless integrations, keeping Alpheya’s platform ready for future advancements

Vendor Due Diligence & Comparison:


  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence and competitive comparisons for vendors, maintaining detailed records for continuous evaluation.

Problem Solving & Analysis:


  • Identify potential challenges, analyze business needs, and forecast future-state requirements.
  • Provide actionable insights on how vendor solutions can address current challenges while positioning Alpheya for the future.

Relationship Building:


  • Build strong, strategic vendor partnerships, ensuring long-term alignment with Alpheya’s goals.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with vendors and agencies, maximizing value while managing costs.
  • Run RFPs to secure the best partners and present business cases backed by in-depth analysis to top leadership.

Efficiency & Project Management:


  • Develop processes and benchmarks to optimize operations and streamline negotiations.
  • Manage multiple projects with tight timelines, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and business outcomes are achieved.
