What you will do
- Manage all tasks related to Companies’ DMCCA/JAFZA portals, including WPS system, licensing, submissions, and compliance.
- Liaise directly with DMCCA, JAFZA, MoFA, and local embassies/consulates for regulatory matters.
- Overview & coordination of attestation and legalization (before Notaries, MoFA, embassies/consulates) procedures of companies' and their affiliates’ documents.
- Ensure timely compliance with UAE regulations and company deadlines.
- Ensure the timely renewal and storage of companies' licenses, lease agreements/office sharing agreements, corporate documents.
- Provide reports and updates to senior management on licensing and compliance.
- Overseeing and supporting with employment documentations including but not limited to Employment permit, Emirates ID, Work Permit, Visas & Medical Insurance, CEC, VISA issuance, assisting with the signature process of employment letters, agreements and addenda etc.
- Responsible Electronic application submission of GDRFA, MOHRE, EID, Immigration system, and Health Departments.
- Manage Group Medical Insurance and Workmen Compensation Insurance in compliance with JAFZA & DMCC
- On an ad hoc basis support People Operations team with any additional corporate projects or requests, not including the above.
What you will bring
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with DMCCA-JAFZA portals, FreeZone entities and local regulatory authorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
- Practical experience & familiarity with MoFA and Embassy/Consulate processes.
- Familiarity with international Groups of Companies with parent entities registered in Dubai shall be a strong asset.
- Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements of DMCC and JAFZA, regarding the good standing of a company, i.e. company fitness checks (AOFC certificate) etc.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Fluency in English
- Paralegal or administrative background is preferred.
- Eager, ambitious, and adaptable to change and multiple priorities
Considered as plus:
- Basic knowledge of AML processes.
- Basic knowledge of Economic Substance submission process.
- Previous working experience within an HR function in a multinational company.
