Purpose / Objective:*The selected candidate will be responsible to work according to technical data relating to surface restoration of Aircraft Components.



Job Duties: In relation to Surface Restoration of Aircraft Components



Perform inspection, repair of components I.A.W. Technical Data.


Complete all regulatory training.


Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they arise.


Complete job assignments in a timely manner.


Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification.


Duties will include but not limited to, the preparation and application of various materials including primers, protective chemicals and top coat finishes.


The painter will document and stamp for work.


Participate in shop and facility Continuous Improvement activities and initiatives.


Participate in shop audits as scheduled.


Perform area cleaning and maintenance as required.


Demonstrate awareness and understanding of company policies and management systems, the importance of conforming to all company policies and procedures.


Experience of composite repairs would be beneficial.



Experience / Requirements / Qualifications:



High School Diploma or Technical Diploma


Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in performing related painting activities in Aerospace or Automotive industry, preferably in an MRO shop.


Ability to read, understand and interpret Maintenance Manuals e.g. CMM,SRM.


Ability to work flexible hours and a willingness to assist other departments as necessary.


Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in written form in the English language.
