Responsible for managing the development of programmes in accordance with the vision and values of Public Art Biennial/Manar Abu Dhabi/DCT Public Art Project
Manage programmers team/programme developers and ensure maintaining a positive and supportive environment
Take responsibility for the timely deliveries of project milestones
Oversee the development of programmes that engage diverse audiences, increase public involvement, and involves commissioned artists in a meaningful way
To maintain the goals of involving artists, performers, creatives, makers and educators of all ages across programmes
Ensuring that programmes keep public engagement at the heart of programming
Advise and support the programmers team in managing their public programmes
Propose and recommend Public Art Programmes for the Biennial 2024 and Manar 2025
Responsibilities:
Manage programmers team and DCT contractors in relation to Public Programmes
Collaborate with the project director on overall short and long-term planning and ensuring sustainability and creativity of programmes
Collaborate with the project director on timelines and budget
Contribute to proposing artists and community partners who can elevate and enrich the public art programming portfolio
Leading a programme that directly engages public art commission themes and contemporary issues relevant to the city and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Ensure that a diverse range of participants are featured in the programme such as filmmakers, performers, designers and writers among others
With the Communications department, oversee program marketing and outreach with the goal of increased public and community engagement
Oversee proactive outreach to relevant constituencies to build audiences and relationships for the program
Evaluate effectiveness of all programs, internally and with external partners
Establish Public Programmes schedules for PAAD
Coordinate with the DCT education team specifically in relation to PAAD Biennial and Manar Abu Dhabi.
Write and review content in Arabic and English for all public programmes
