Role and Responsibilities


Being a Key part of Business Applications Team, Oracle Fusion Techno-Functional Consultant’s responsibility is to play a critical role in implementing, customizing, and supporting Oracle Fusion applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality implementations. Your expertise in both technical and functional aspects of Oracle Fusion will be instrumental in optimizing business processes and achieving successful outcomes.


Requirement Gathering and Analysis:


  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, pain points, and objectives.
  • Conduct workshops and interviews to gather and document business process flows, data requirements, and functional specifications.
  • Analyze complex business problems and provide recommendations for efficient and effective solutions leveraging Oracle Fusion applications.

Solution Design and Configuration:


  • Design and architect Oracle Fusion solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Configure Oracle Fusion applications, including modules such as Financials, HCM, SCM, etc., to meet business needs.
  • Define and implement system configurations, workflows, security, and approval hierarchies.

Technical Development and Customization:


  • Develop customizations and extensions using Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies, such as ADF, SOA, and ODI.
  • Design and develop data integrations and interfaces between Oracle Fusion applications and other systems.
  • Write SQL and PL/SQL scripts to extract, transform, and load data as part of data migration activities.

Testing and Quality Assurance:


  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the accuracy and reliability of Oracle Fusion solutions.
  • Perform functional, integration, and regression testing, identify defects, and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing of business processes and provide recommendations for improvement.

User Training and Support:


Conduct user training sessions to familiarize end-users with Oracle Fusion applications and processes


  • Provide ongoing support to end-users, address their questions and issues, and ensure their successful adoption of the system.
  • Collaborate with the support team to resolve any production issues and perform system maintenance and upgrades.

Qualifications and Education Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Oracle Fusion Implementations and development.
Preferred Skills

Following are the desired skills.


  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion architecture, modules, and business processes.
  • Proficient in Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies, such as ADF, SOA, and ODI.
  • Experience in configuring and customizing Oracle Fusion applications.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Basic Knowledge of:


  • System Integration
Additional Notes

Oracle certifications, such as Oracle Fusion Applications Certified Implementation Specialist, are a plus.
