Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team. This role will focus on coordinating integration testing, functional testing, and data migration within the Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM and ERP modules. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of both technical and functional aspects of Oracle Procurement and Finance, with hands-on experience in system testing and data migration processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Integration Testing Coordination:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between Oracle Fusion Sourcing, Procurement, Finance), and other internal/external systems.
- Create and manage detailed test plans for integration testing, ensuring that all integrated processes function as expected.
- Coordinate the execution of integration tests, track test progress, and ensure that all defects are logged and resolved.
- Ensure the integrity of end-to-end process between Oracle Procurement, Finance, and other applications.
2. Functional Testing:
- Coordinate and execute functional testing for Oracle Procurement and Finance modules.
- Ensure that the system meets functional requirements as outlined in the design documentation.
- Identify and resolve functional discrepancies, working closely with business users and technical teams.
- Lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing) sessions, ensuring user requirements are adequately validated.
3. Data Migration:
- Oversee data migration activities for Oracle Procurement and Finance modules.
- Develop data migration plans and strategies to ensure data integrity and accuracy during the migration process.
- Work closely with the data migration team to map, extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from legacy systems to Oracle.
- Ensure the validation and reconciliation of data post-migration to ensure alignment with business requirements.
4. Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
- Work with business users and stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements for testing and data migration activities.
- Develop clear and concise documentation for testing procedures, migration steps, and functional specifications.
5. Collaboration & Communication:
- Serve as the key liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Communicate test results, project status, and any issues to management and stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of any issues identified during testing or migration.
6. Problem Solving & Issue Resolution:
- Proactively identify potential testing or migration issues, troubleshoot problems, and develop solutions to resolve them.
- Escalate critical issues to the appropriate stakeholders and work towards timely resolutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Techno-Functional Consultant, with a strong focus on Oracle Procurement and Finance modules.
- 80% Technical & 20% Functional knowledge is ideal
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud is mandatory.
- Proven experience in integration testing, functional testing, and data migration.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Procurement (e.g., Purchasing, Sourcing, Supplier Portal) and Finance (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable) modules.
- Good understanding of Oracle ERP architecture, integration technologies and data migration processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Oracle certifications in Procurement or Finance modules.
- Experience in Salesforce is a plus
