ORACLE CONSULTANT

Job Summary: 

The Oracle Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle systems to optimize business processes and enhance operational efficiency. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Oracle applications, database management, and industry best practices. The Oracle Consultant will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and provide tailored Oracle solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Analysis:
   • Engage with clients to gather and analyze business requirements.
   • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and system design.
2. Oracle Implementation:
   • Design and implement Oracle applications based on business needs.
   • Configure and customize Oracle systems to align with business processes.
   • Develop and execute project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
3. Integration and Migration:
   • Integrate Oracle systems with other enterprise applications.
   • Conduct data migration activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
4. Testing and Validation:
   • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of Oracle solutions.
   • Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and resolve any issues.
5. Training and Support:
   • Provide training and support to end-users on Oracle systems and processes.
   • Create user documentation, manuals, and training materials.
6. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
   • Monitor and maintain Oracle systems to ensure optimal performance.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and system errors.
   • Apply patches and upgrades as needed.
7. Project Management:
   • Manage Oracle projects, including scope, budget, and timeline management.
   • Coordinate with project stakeholders and ensure successful project delivery.
8. Continuous Improvement:
   • Stay updated on the latest Oracle technologies, tools, and industry trends.
   • Propose and implement improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Oracle consulting, including Oracle implementation, configuration, and support.
• Certifications: Oracle certification in relevant areas (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) is preferred.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Oracle applications (Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle Fusion Middleware, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Oracle database management and SQL.
  • Familiarity with Oracle integration methods (APIs, web services, etc.).
  • Experience with Oracle data migration tools and techniques.
  • Understanding of business processes and best practices.
