Charterhouse is working with a global organization which provides consultancy services to major maritime accounts. Our client is looking to hire an Operations Specialist who will oversee the seamless execution of a wide range of services for vessels calling at international and remote ports. Due to the nature of the role readiness and ability to travel frequently with a high degree of flexibility is required.
About the role
The Operations Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects related to service and contract supplies within the husbanding field throughout the Middle East region. The role involves adhering to the terms specified in client contracts and aligning actions with company guidelines whilst analysing contracts to also identify opportunities for the most favourable economic outcomes within the scope of the contract.
The role will be tasked with establishing clear channels of communication with the global team, clients and local agents situated in various ports. The primary focus is on ensuring meticulous preparation for ship visits and the delivery of services to meet the highest standards.
Regular on-site operations attendance is a crucial aspect of the role, involving monitoring conduct, agent training, and oversight of audits or emergencies.

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must demonstrate a proven track record within a maritime, shipping, or logistics environment, ideally with exposure to international markets.
