Job Description

Our client, a multinational forex brokerage, is looking for an Operations Specialist to join their team in Dubai, UAE. This role will be providing support interdepartmentally especially but not limited with customer service and sales department.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for client requests, connecting sales, compliance, finance, retention teams, and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to SCA rules and regulations.
  • Review and handle client documents in line with company guidelines and procedures, including KYC and DD checks.
  • Provide assistance to Account Managers, external partners, and Introducing Brokers (IBs).
  • Prepare and submit CRS and FATCA reports to the compliance team.
  • Conduct enhanced Due Diligence on high-risk clients and Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs).
  • Gather and assess relevant client information to accurately respond to inquiries.
  • Address inquiries in a timely manner, ensuring resolution.
  • Coordinate Limited Power of Attorney (LPOA) and liaise with money managers and other departments.
  • Quickly escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate person or department.
  • Handle payments and oversee financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, refunds, internal transfers) through banks and payment gateways.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards by conducting KYC and AML checks and reporting suspicious activities as per SCA guidelines.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in operations within a CFD/FX brokerage.
  • A university degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficient in computer use, with strong knowledge of MS Office and Outlook being a must.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with strong networking skills, multitasking capabilities, and the ability to track and report progress effectively.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proactive with a strong initiative and a focus on driving continuous improvement.
  • Dynamic team player with a positive attitude and energy in the workplace.
