Job Description

Role: Operations Processor - 


Location: Abu Dhabi


ROLE PURPOSE: 


Provide support to frontline teams and ADIB customers for New Business booking activities and after Sales Services.


Execute all required Operational activities as per the Approved SOPs to minimize the risk and apply all required controls.


Key Accountabilities of the role:


  • Follow approved SOPs related to assigned activities and ensure full understanding of the processes and product details.
  • Receive Takaful Applications from frontline Sales Channels and vet the documents.
  • Data entry of received cases on daily basis and maintain daily MIS.
  • Accurate and complete MIS is maintained.
  • Share MIS with relevant units on daily basis.
  • Coordinate with Sales Teams to regularize any missing information and documents.
  • Upload cases in iBancs system (Creation of Customers/ Generation of Applications).
  • All applications and required data are logged in system timely.
  • Before forwarding the case to Takaful Provides, ensure all documents are in-line with their requirements.
  • Accuracy & competence of submitted documents.
  • Forward original documents to Takaful Providers where applicable.
  • Follow-up with sales and back-office teams for underwriting requirements when needed.
  • Ensure customer contributions are collected on timely basis.
  • Follow-up on wrong contribution deduction where applicable.
  • Ensure all activities are done within agreed TAT’s.
  • Response and follow-ups on received complaints and provide timely solutions.
  • Send reports to the Takaful Providers and share it with the channel.
  • Enhance and improve workflow, control, identify and mitigate operational risk/ losses.
  • Work on the different operations system, follow-up and generate the required reports.
  • Ensure customers and internal departments are handled professionally.
  • Support other backup activities and assignments as per department and business requirements.
  • Adhere to ADIB HR policy and code of conduct.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:


  • Confidence; to take an event from concept of finalization.
  • Ability to coordinate the various tasks of the event.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Possess interpersonal skills, effective communication skills and a positive attitude in dealing with internal and external customer.
  • Time management skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to details.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Teamwork and self-motivated skills.
  • Computer and Microsoft Office knowledge.

Previous experience:       


  • Minimum 2 years Financial Services/ Customer Services experience.
