THE ROLE:
Efficiently Manage Pre-Arrival to Post Departure Vessel Port Call Operations in UAE Port on call 24/7.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As Operations Officer, your commitments are:
- Have Sound knowledge of all Ports and Procedures under UAE.
- Ensure all HO/DRO Operational Instructions and Procedures are strictly adhered.
- Ensure all Internal applications are utilized to ensure visibility.
- Aware of Local Ports’ procedures / rules and regulations – apply whenever required to ensure 100% compliant.
- Monitor Port situations constantly everyday and report to Department head.
- Foresee and plan Group vessel berthing to avoid delays.
- Discuss Constraints and report to HO/DRO as per internal processes.
- CMA CGM Group vessel operation preperations with Masters/Ship Planners and Terminal from arrival to departure.
- Cost effective and Productive Operational planning / monitoring & execution
- Good Anlytical skills to find continuous improvement.( Presentations/etc )
- Post Operations vessel closure 100% accuracy
- TEAM player – able to cope up with work pressure and support operaitonal demands when necessary.
- Respectfully co ordinate with Terminal / All external sources.
- Reports and Analysis of all port calls.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFILE:
- Graduate (3 years regular course ) Any bachelor degree or Equivalent University Degree
- Must have atleast 2-3 years of Industry experience in similar capacity and should have knowledge of the end to end process of Logistics Operations.
- Risk management knowledge
- Vessels technical specifications knowledge
- Knowledge of legal and / or regulatory frame
- Knowledge of dangerous / special cargo or commodity
- Shipping knowledge
- Risk detection and prevention
- Realization of a loading plan
- Excellent Communication Skills
