Job description

​Charterhouse is currently working with a well-established, global professional services organisation who are looking to hire a pro-active and results driven Operations Assistant to support their professional team with administrative tasks. Due to the demands of the position, it is essential advantageous if the candidate has either financial or professional services industry experience.



About the role



The role will be required to complete administrative tasks set out by the professional services team, and senior management, within the Dubai Office. The Operations Assistant will assist in collation and analysis, preparing reports and presentations. This role will handle correspondence for Senior Management, to improve communications across the teams and assist with coordination of feedback from reports. Other responsibilities will include filing, scanning, and amending documents. Organising, scheduling and coordination of meetings for senior management, as well as assisting with internal activities/events.



In addition, the role’s responsibilities will include but are not subject to, manage front of house welcoming clients into the business, taking inbound and making outbound calls taking messages and answering queries. Other adhoc duties where required by the team.



This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is already working in an administrative role but is seeking a challenging role where they can acquire new skills, as well as gaining professional growth.



About You



To be considered for this role, the suitable candidate will have a minimum of 3 years administrative experience, working within the UAE. It is essential that the applicant has experience working within professional services, financial services or other corporate working environments. It will be an advantage if the candidate has general knowledge of the industry and market trends.



The applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, preferably with western qualifications. The ideal candidate should be positive and proactive with a friendly approach, a strong team player yet self-sufficient and the ability to work effectively, meeting deadlines and able to demonstrate exceptional organisational skills.
