We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operating Advisor Support Senior Associate/Manager to join our dynamic team. The candidate will become an integral part of the core engagement team, supporting various tasks that drive our client’s success. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with clients, analyze critical data, and contribute to significant operational improvements and turnaround strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Data Review and Interpretation: Analyze and interpret financial and operational client data to provide actionable insights.
- Liquidity Assessment: Evaluate the short-term liquidity needs of client businesses to ensure financial stability and operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between creditors, customers, and other stakeholders to maintain clear communication and positive relationships.
- Cost Reduction and Operational Improvement: Assist in identifying opportunities for cost reduction and operational enhancements to improve overall business performance.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor and report on business performance to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Governance Controls: Implement and oversee governance controls within operating functions to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
- Turnaround Plan Support: Support the preparation and execution of comprehensive turnaround plans tailored to client needs.
Required Experience- Advisory Experience: 4 – 8 years of advisory experience obtained in practice.
- Distressed Situations: Experience in dealing with distressed situations is advantageous but not mandatory.
Core Competencies- Finance: Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Operational Turnaround: Proven ability to contribute to operational turnaround efforts.
- Restructuring: Experience in restructuring initiatives to optimize business performance.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills, including effective communication and relationship-building.
- Internal Controls and Governance: Knowledge of implementing and managing internal controls and governance frameworks.
- Project Management: Competent in managing projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery of outcomes.
- Presentation and Reporting: Proficient in preparing presentations and writing detailed reports for various audiences.
Educational Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree: Degree in Business, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or Science.
- Professional Qualifications: Recognized accounting qualification and/or CFA is an advantage.
