The Onboarding Specialist will support the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have a positive and productive start at RAKBANK.
This role involves coordinating various aspects of the onboarding experience, from pre-boarding to initial training, and working with different departments to facilitate a seamless transition for new team members.
Responsibilities
Onboarding Program Support: Assist in implementing and managing onboarding programs to create an engaging experience for new hires.
Prepare and organize onboarding materials such as welcome packets, orientation guides, and training schedules.
Coordinate with hiring managers and relevant departments to schedule and facilitate orientation sessions and introductory meetings.
Pre-Boarding and Orientation: Manage pre-boarding tasks, including preparing workstations, arranging necessary equipment, and ensuring system access is set up before the new hire's start date.
Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new hires to the company’s culture, policies, and procedures.
Ensure new hires complete required paperwork, including contracts and benefits enrolment.
Candidate Experience: Serve as a point of contact for new hires during the onboarding process, answering questions and addressing concerns.
Provide support to create a welcoming and positive experience for new employees.
Collect feedback from new hires and hiring managers to help improve the onboarding process.
Training and Development: Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to ensure new hires have access to necessary training and resources.
Track progress of new hires through their initial training and probation period, offering assistance as needed.
Provide feedback on the effectiveness of onboarding and training programs.
Compliance and Documentation: Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE labour laws throughout the onboarding process.
Maintain accurate records of onboarding activities and new hire documentation.
Prepare basic reports on onboarding metrics for review by senior team members.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, and other departments to coordinate onboarding activities.
Support hiring managers and department heads in ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for onboarding.
