Job Description

Job Purpose

  • The Onboarding Manager will be responsible for the design, coordination, and execution of the onboarding process for all new hires.
  • This role focuses on ensuring a seamless and positive experience for new employees, fostering engagement from the first interaction, and collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance the onboarding process and ensure all new employees are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and required resources.
  • The Onboarding Manager will work closely with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and other departments to drive continuous improvements in onboarding effectiveness, employee satisfaction, and overall organizational integration.

Responsibilities

  • Design: Design, implement, and continuously improve the onboarding process to enhance the new hire experience.
  • Develop and maintain onboarding materials, including orientation programs, welcome kits, and training schedules.
  • Ensure onboarding programs are aligned with the company’s culture, values, and business objectives.
  • Coordination & Execution: Manage the logistics of the onboarding process, including scheduling, communications, and facilitation of orientation sessions.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers, IT, facilities, and other departments to ensure all necessary arrangements are made for new hires.
  • Oversee the completion of all required documentation and compliance tasks for new employees.
  • New Hire Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for new hires, addressing any questions or concerns during the onboarding process.
  • Foster positive relationships with new employees to ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to assess and improve the onboarding experience.
  • Induction Delivery: Lead the design and delivery of induction programs that provide new employees with a strong understanding of the bank’s culture, values, and operations.
  • Ensure that induction content is up-to-date, relevant, and effectively communicated.
  • Collaboration with Talent Acquisition: Work closely with Talent Acquisition to ensure a seamless handover from recruitment to onboarding.
  • Collaborate on the development of pre-boarding initiatives to engage candidates before their start date.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve the overall candidate-to-employee transition.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Develop and track key onboarding metrics, such as time to productivity, employee satisfaction, and retention rates.
  • Prepare and present regular reports and Onboarding dashboards to senior management on the effectiveness of onboarding programs, identifying areas for improvement.
