Job Description

Project Director – Oil & Gas (EPC)


Location: GCC

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Project Director to lead the execution of large-scale EPC projects in the Oil & Gas sector across the GCC. The role requires end-to-end project ownership, from planning and procurement to construction and commissioning, ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and financial requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering complex EPC projects within Oil & Gas, petrochemicals, refineries, or pipelines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full project lifecycle, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
  • Manage EPC contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, project financing, and risk management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, including clients, government authorities, and investors.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical) or related field.
  • Experience:
  • 20+ years of experience in EPC project management within Oil & Gas.
  • Experience delivering multi-billion-dollar projects in refineries, petrochemicals, or pipelines.
  • Expertise in FIDIC contracts, risk mitigation, and EPC execution models.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) processes.
  • Ability to manage large, multi-disciplinary teams.
