We are currently seeking a Offshore Structural Designer, reporting directly to Head of The Department to join our Offshore - Structural team based in UAE- Abu Dhabi.

About the role:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Development:
- Develop detailed structural designs for offshore platforms and facilities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Utilize advanced design software and tools to create accurate and efficient structural models.
2. Project Management:
- Participate in FEED, EPC, and detailed design phases of projects.
- Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of design outputs.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports.
3. Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior designers and engineers.
- Conduct structural analysis and simulations to validate design integrity.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
4. Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
- Participate in design reviews and audits to maintain quality and safety standards.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and other external parties.

Qualifications: Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering
Languages: English + proficiency level (Basic, Professional, Fluent)
Main skills: - Minimum of 8 years of experience in offshore structural design within the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, SACS, or similar tools with must SP3D experience.
- Strong understanding of offshore design codes and standards (e.g., API, ISO, DNV).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
