1. Maintain performance management frameworks, KPAs and data collection processes policies, programs and procedures in line with business objectives and goals.
2. Provide support to line managers in setting up SMART Objective in order to maintain the consistency and quality of the objectives.
3. Receive the SMART objective from the line managers and review the objectives in order to check/validate the objectives are in line with SMART criteria.
4. Prepare and present statistics, and provide advice about area performance issues, including identification of areas for improvement, audit and analysis and the development of recommendations.
5. Reports findings to concerned Dubai Customs management, Performance Management team, and governmental entities to make right decisions for improving performance.
6. Provide project support for DC projects as and when required including the development and upkeep of performance and appraisal documents for review and reference.
7. Monitor and report on project activity, maintaining effective communication with project personnel to ensure that appropriate activity reports are produced, progressed and reviewed in line with the agreed processes.
8. Assist Performance Management Specialist to develop and administer the coaching and improvement plan for the employees who need improvement (Poor Performance).
9. Coordinate with line managers to inform the time frame for the follow up on performance reviews (Quarterly, Half-yearly, yearly) and assist them to conduct fair reviews.
10. Establish and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders such as data providers, managers, delivery teams and other Performance team members to carry out performance management related task easily.
11. Coordinate with Executive Council office as directed by the Senior Specialist-PMS to receive updated communications on the PMS activities.
12. Contribute to the annual strategic and operational plan of the section.
13. Perform any assigned duties from the direct manager accurately and within the specified time, to ensure the completion of the assigned tasks to the fullest extent.
