Job Description
To perform administration activities in order to ensure satisfaction of internal department needs, handle contractual matters of various projects during bidding and execution and to provide appropriate levels of contractual support whenever required and under proper supervision.
To ensure all contractual activities are carried out to a high standard in accordance with Masdar requirements, and are transparent and supported by appropriate documentation.
To monitor that all members of the Project teams comply with Masdar governance and support to undertake audits whenever necessary.
Responsibilities :
Assist the Contracts Managers and Project teams to negotiate the terms and conditions with the vendors in order to ensure that Masdar’s interests are safeguarded from a contractual aspect. Assist the Contracts Managers and Project teams to develop contracts with the vendors in line with the agreed terms and conditions. Assist the Contracts Managers and Project teams as and when required in administering contracts as per the agreed terms and conditions. Monitor vendors’ performance and ensure that products/services are in line with agreed standards and contracts. Maintain a high standard of tracking and record keeping of contracts, internal/external correspondences and filling other relevant documentation. Build and maintain a network of relevant contacts to support daily activities and long-term objectives of the team. Apply consistent approaches/discipline and standardized forms in line with relevant policies, processes and procedures. Prepare relevant reports and updates as required and to the desired standard.
Qualifications
Preferred Experience:
• 0-2 years managing and administrating construction contracts with • Experience in administrating renewable energy contract agreements is an asset

Ability to develop good knowledge of drafting, negotiating, executing, administrating and closing multiple contracts. Ability to develop good knowledge of various standard forms of contract. Ability to develop good knowledge of financial, commercial and contractual governances. Ability to develop good knowledge of contract law. Ability to develop good knowledge of drafting and issuing contractual notices and communications. Ability to develop good knowledge of risk management and risk allocation. Ability to develop good knowledge of securities, warranties, bonds and guarantees. Ability to develop good knowledge of payment processes, cost monitoring and cost reporting. Ability to develop good knowledge of analysing schedules and programmes. Ability to develop good knowledge of design, engineering, construction, commissioning and operation activities. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
