We are looking for a highly motivated and certified DHA nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience working with children in a Nursery / School.


Main Accountabilities:


·The nursery nurse is responsible for creating and maintaining best practices in relation to the health & safety and well-being of children in our care.


·Maintaining children’s medical records, ensuring all required medical information and documents are up to date.


·Be up to date with all Covid 19 information, requirements, policies, and procedures in nurseries


·Conducting a daily medical examination for the children so as to discover diseases and the children infected by them and to isolate these children for presenting them to the physician or referring them to the hospital.


·Overseeing health and safety, hygiene, and sickness policies and ensuring the clinic is kept up to date for DHA or any other government body inspections


·Preparing a safe play environment, setting up equipment, ensure toys and equipment are cleaned and stored appropriately.


·Supporting teachers in classrooms as an assistant teacher wherever needed


·Carrying out first aid treatment for children and staff and or calling for emergency assistance whenever required.


·Ensure compliance with DHA rules and regulations.


·Provide training for nursery on the management of allergies, and other major medical conditions to promote good health care practice.


·Practices infection control policies and has awareness of this in everyday practice.


The candidate must have the ability to work as a member of a team, communicate effectively with young children and be flexible and willing to undertake a range of tasks in an efficient manner.
