The Non-Inventory Receiver will work as a team with other Amazon associates, buyers, and SPM to administer the flow of non-inventory goods including packaging materials, MRO supplies and other goods specified by SPM. Job functions include; PIT rider operation, off load and accurately put away non-inventory goods, stage product in work areas, organization of packaging supplies, maintaining appropriate levels of shipping supplies in FC, receive goods into Coupa system, data entry, research missing non-inventory shipments, assist with payment inquiries from A/P, and file keeping. Performs accurate shipping supplies cycle counts.
Key job responsibilities
PIT operation, loading/unloading and accurately putting away non-inventory goods, staging product in work areas, counting, organizing and maintaining appropriate levels of shipping supplies, receiving goods into Coupa system (data entry), researching and troubleshooting non-inventory shipments, assisting with payment inquiries from A/P, safely leading a team other associates, and file keeping, among others.
The NIR also performs accurate shipping supplies cycle counts and assures the delivery of such items to the appropriate locations within the FC. Submitting regular reports to SPM, SPOC and other teams. Reporting any issue to the SPM, SPOC team. Monitoring and leading team of associates in the FC and acting as a POC. Handling and leading Shipping Supplies initiatives / projects assigned by SPOC, SPM, or Category team (e.g. PassApp, Packaging materials quality testing… )
- High school or equivalent
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
