Job Title: NDT Level 3 Engineer
Location: Abu Dhabi
Experience: 1-3 Years
Salary: Depends Upon Experience
Main Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Developing and implementing NDT procedures, techniques, and best practices for various inspection methods.
- Conducting advanced inspections using NDT techniques such as UT, RT, PT, MT, VT, and ET.
- Reviewing and approving NDT reports, test results, and quality documentation.
- Providing technical guidance and training to NDT Level 1 and Level 2 personnel.
- Evaluating and certifying NDT personnel in accordance with ASNT, ISO 9712, or equivalent standards.
- Coordinating with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Investigating non-conformities and implementing corrective and preventive actions to maintain quality assurance.
- Ensuring the calibration and maintenance of NDT equipment and tools.
- Staying updated with the latest advancements in NDT technologies and industry best practices.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Metallurgical, or related field).
- Certified NDT Level 3 as per ASNT, PCN, ISO 9712, or equivalent.
Skills Required:
- Expertise in various NDT techniques including Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and Visual Testing (VT).
- Strong knowledge of international NDT codes and standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, and ISO.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Effective communication and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, codes, and specifications.
- Ability to manage multiple NDT projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
