Job OverviewJob Title: Native Speaker English Homeroom Teacher (ADEK Approved) Location: Al Ain, UAE Recruitment Company: REAP HR & RECRUITMENT SERVICES Job Type: Full-Time Start Date: January 2025 (Immediate joiner)Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced Native Speaker English Homeroom Teacher (ADEK Approved) for a reputable school located in Al Ain, UAE. This position is open to candidates from the USA, UK, and Canada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily academic, emotional, and social development of students in a primary education setting. The Homeroom Teacher will deliver core curriculum subjects, maintain classroom discipline, and act as the key point of contact between students, parents, and the school. This role requires an individual who is dedicated to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment, ensuring that students excel both academically and personally.Qualifications:To be considered for this position, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood / Primary Education (QFE7)Bachelor’s Degree in another subject + Valid Teaching License in Early Childhood / Primary Education or QFE6 (Diploma) in Early Childhood / Primary EducationQFE7 Bachelor’s Degree in another subject + Valid Teaching License or QFE6 (Diploma) Teaching Qualification + 3 years of teaching experience in Early Childhood / Primary Education.Key Responsibilities:Planning and Preparation:Plan, prepare, and deliver courses, schemes of work, and individual lessons suited to the needs, interests, and abilities of students in the class.Ensure the curriculum is appropriately delivered to support student progress and academic achievement.Teaching and Supervision:Teach core subjects and facilitate learning in the classroom, ensuring students remain engaged and productive.Set tasks, assignments, and projects for students, both during school hours and for homework, ensuring that all students have access to learning always.Marking and Assessment:Regularly mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback and recording their academic progress.Maintain accurate records of students’ development, achievement, and overall performance.Classroom Discipline and Relationships:Foster a disciplined, respectful, and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.Promote positive behaviors and manage student relationships by applying consistent and fair rules.Encourage students to respect school values and uphold discipline in all aspects of their school life.Parent Communication:Establish and maintain open communication with parents to discuss students’ academic progress, behavior, and social development.Provide timely updates on students' learning, highlighting areas of success as well as areas requiring improvement.Classroom Environment:Ensure the classroom is safe, engaging, and conducive to learning, maintaining an attractive and well-organized environment.Contribute to school-wide displays and decorations to enhance the learning atmosphere.School Policy and Review:Adhere to all school policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all academic and behavioral guidelines.Actively participate in school-wide reviews, offering suggestions and contributing to the ongoing improvement of educational practices.Reports and Documentation:Provide detailed oral and written assessments, reports, and references about the development and performance of students.Regularly review students' academic progress and participate in parent-teacher conferences as required.Self-Evaluation and Professional Development:Continuously evaluate and reflect on teaching methods and learning strategies to improve instructional effectiveness.Participate in professional development activities to stay current with educational best practices and trends.Public Relations and School Representation:Build and maintain professional relationships with colleagues, students, parents, and the wider community.Exhibit appropriate professional conduct, dress, and behavior in line with the values and image of the school.Skills and Attributes:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to manage classroom behavior and foster a positive learning environment.High level of professionalism and confidentiality.A passion for teaching and nurturing the academic, social, and emotional development of students.Adaptable and able to work effectively in a multicultural environment.Working Conditions:The position requires flexibility in working hours, which may include evenings or weekends depending on school events and the Executive Chairman's schedule.Occasional travel may be required for external engagements or events.Salary:AED 11000 to AED 13000Gender: FemaleNationality: USA,UK, Canadian,North American accent required.
