Overview of the role:
- The National Manager for Motorcycles, Marine, and Power Products is responsible for driving the overall growth, sales, and revenue of Honda’s Motorcycles, Marine, and Power Product divisions across the country. This role involves strategic leadership, operational management, and effective collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure market penetration, competitive positioning, and sustainable business development.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement the national sales strategy for Motorcycles, Marine, and Power Products, focusing on B2C and B2B markets.
- Analyze market trends, customer demands, and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities in consumer and corporate sectors.
- Set annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets for both B2C and B2B sales, and monitor performance to ensure achievement of goals.
- Oversee and drive sales operations across all regions to ensure maximum market penetration and revenue growth in both individual and corporate segments.
- Lead the Sales Manager and team in building strong relationships with dealerships, distributors, and corporate clients.
- Identify new business opportunities in B2C and B2B markets, including fleet sales, commercial partnerships, and institutional deals.
- Work closely with marketing teams to develop campaigns that support product sales in both consumer and business sectors.
- Lead and mentor the Sales & Aftersales Managers, ensuring alignment with sales, service & parts objectives for both B2C and B2B.
- Ensure the sales executives and technicians receive the necessary training, support, and guidance to perform at high standards in both business streams.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team, encouraging continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ensure seamless operational coordination between sales teams, supply chain, and after-sales service to enhance customer satisfaction and experience for both individual and corporate clients.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate supply of products to meet demands in both B2C and B2B segments.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across the business.
- Develop and manage budgets for the division, ensuring cost-effective operations across both B2C and B2B.
- Regularly review financial performance and profitability, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize revenue in both consumer and corporate markets.
- Collaborate with internal teams (such as R&D, product development, and finance) to align business strategies and operational activities for B2C and B2B sectors.
- Maintain relationships with key external stakeholders including principal, dealers, distributors, corporate clients, and strategic partners.
- Prepare regular sales reports, market analyses, and business performance updates for senior leadership, covering both B2C and B2B performance.
- Utilize sales data and key performance metrics to assess progress, identify challenges, and make informed decisions for both business streams.
- Required skills to be successful:
- Experience in product management or sales within the automotive industry, specifically in motorcycles, marine, or power products.
- Proven track record of leading successful sales teams and driving revenue growth in both B2C and B2B markets.
- Strong understanding of the motorcycle, marine, and power products market.
- Analytical skills.

- The role reports to the Brand Director and will interact with internal and external stakeholders.

- Bachelor’s Degree
- 8-10 years of experience in product management or sales within the automotive industry, specifically in motorcycles, marine, or power products.
- Proven track record of leading successful sales teams and driving revenue growth in both B2C and B2B markets.
- Strong understanding of the motorcycle, marine, and power products market.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
