Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining milling machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in production processes.
Main Responsibilities:- Operate and monitor milling machines to produce precision components based on technical drawings and specifications.
- Set up, adjust, and align the machine settings for optimal performance.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality and design standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain machine efficiency.
- Interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for different materials.
- Maintain records of production runs and machine performance.
- Follow all safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and achieve operational targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or deviations from standards to the supervisor.
Essential Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating milling machines.
- Knowledge of CNC and manual milling machines is an advantage.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Skills Required:- Strong understanding of machining techniques and principles.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
- Attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality.
- Good physical stamina to stand and operate machinery for extended periods.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
