About the job Merchandiser Planner

The Merchandiser Planner is a key role responsible for the efficient planning, coordination, and execution of the production process from order intake to delivery. This position requires a strong understanding of textile manufacturing, production planning, and supply chain management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


Responsibilities:


  • Demand Planning: Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer forecasts to develop accurate production plans.
  • Production Planning: Create detailed production schedules, assigning resources and materials to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
  • Capacity Planning: Monitor production capacity and identify potential bottlenecks, implementing solutions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and adherence to quality standards.
  • Order Management: Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, communicating order details to relevant departments.
  • Cost Control: Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications:
