Job Description

The MEP Engineer plays a crucial role in the construction and building industry, focusing on the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems of various projects. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to ensure that all MEP systems are designed, installed, and maintained according to industry standards and regulations. The MEP Engineer will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct site inspections to assess the installation of MEP systems and ensure adherence to design specifications.
  2. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate MEP systems into the overall project design.
  3. Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  4. Manage project timelines and budgets related to MEP systems, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  5. Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams during the installation process.
  6. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations affecting MEP systems.
  7. Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for MEP installations.

  • Ability to conduct energy audits and system optimization.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of sustainable building practices.
