Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and Design:
- Develop detailed drawings for MEP systems using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Prepare layouts, sketches, and plans for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems based on specifications and project requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with MEP engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and clarify design requirements.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (e.g., structural, architectural) to ensure integration of MEP systems.
- Documentation:
- Maintain and update project drawings and documentation.
- Assist in preparing documentation for permits, approvals, and construction.
- Quality Control:
- Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specifications.
- Conduct site visits as needed to gather information and ensure accuracy of drawings.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical support and assistance to project teams during the design and construction phases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MEP drawings and designs.
