Develop accurate and coordinated MEP models (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) in Revit, ensuring all systems are integrated seamlessly.
Prepare detailed MEP services sheets, ensuring all required information is clearly presented for submission.
Extract MEP shop drawings from the Revit model for submission purposes, ensuring they comply with project requirements and standards.
Update the MEP model to reflect as-built conditions, using red-line drawings or project-specific methods.
Compile and organize COBie (Construction Operations Building Information Exchange) data and client FM (Facility Management) asset parameters as per project specifications.
Ensure compliance with project-specific standards, BIM protocols, and relevant industry standards.
Coordinate with project teams, including architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines, to resolve any clashes or issues within the MEP model.
Assist in the preparation of project documentation and report progress to the BIM Manager or Project Manager.
Participate in regular BIM coordination meetings to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in MEP BIM modeling, specifically in Revit.
Strong experience in developing and coordinating MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Proficiency in using Revit for MEP modeling and drafting, with a strong understanding of BIM processes and workflows.
Experience in preparing and managing MEP shop drawings and construction documents.
Familiarity with COBie data and asset management processes.
Strong understanding of project standards, BIM protocols, and industry best practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of the latest BIM technologies and tools related to MEP design and coordination
