Corporate Sales Lead MENA


This position will provide strategic and operational leadership field Sales team members to support them to meet sales, revenue, retention and organizational objectives. Responsible for their territory for end to end business from lead generation to Sales Close. Designs and develops strategies to increase market share and grow short and long term business through management of the region. May also be responsible for leading other people managers, depending on level of role.


Responsible for developing and nurturing C-Level business relationships, thought leadership & ensuring high profile legal brand of TR in Corporates market.


About The Role


  • Drive high performance in the team to deliver on agreed sales quotas through effective targeted coaching and performance counseling
  • Coach team to develop and drive a strong customer focus and sales culture
  • Monitor agreed targets for individuals in the team
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of the external industry environment and internal systems and  products to support team in providing an exceptional customer experience in order to maximise sales.
  • Build and maintain collaborative and mutually supporting relationships with other key stakeholders colleagues and senior leaders as required – ALB, Client Training Specialists, Marketing, Proposition
  • Ability to coach and support sales/client management team in the sales process and cycle  in order to close business
  • Attend and network at various functions and through existing clients including speaking engagements.
  • Retention and cross sell within Territory
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports to monitor performance and review metrics.
  • Report to other parts of the business any feedback from clients, publishing, customer Service etc.
  • Provide feedback to Sales Director on successes and opportunities as well as future risks
  • Act as a development resource to fellow sales leadership team to assist in their efforts to drive sales of PL and other solutions through their teams
  • Manage and drive new business activity
  • Oversee the rapid building of pipeline in the designated segments in support of the Commercial plan.
  • Ensure ample lead generation activity across sales team
  • Financial goals (team & Individual) – BOB, Gross Sales, Retention, Net Sales
  • Contribute to the achievement of the team goals and aim to exceed goals by actively selling to customers in identified territories
  • Provide accurate weekly reports to leadership on pipeline and forecasting for the region
  • Manage high performing sales teams
  • Territory & Account Planning Management
  • SFDC Discipline & Management

About You


  • Finance, Accounting, Business / MBA or relevant qualification OR experience
  • 5 years of Sales Leadership / general management experience.
  • P+L experience not essential but advantageous.
  • Able to develop a good understanding of procedural work pressures and broad appreciation of the commercial dimension of legal practice. Professional services exposure therefore an advantage
  • In-depth appreciation of the challenges in legal practice and ability to inspire confidence with expert knowledge of the solution to the sales team. Will likely have a previous exposure to SaaS / Cloud technologies and solutions.
  • Demonstrable selling experience, effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead, mentor and coach and develop Sales team, leading to successful achievement of planned objectives and outcomes
  • Proven sales track record and an extensive professional network in the legal and allied industries.
  • Excellent presentation skills
